During the regional cook offs, a pot luck challenge takes place. Each Gogo will select a card from a pot. The 2 (two) Gogo's that select the winning card will win a R250 (two hundred and fifty rand) voucher at the store of activation.

The Prize is not transferrable and may not be exchanged for cash or any other items. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the Prize/s with any other prize of comparable value.

Any person residing in South Africa, who is 18 (eighteen) years of age or older, may participate in this Competition any may nominate a Gogo /Grandmother /Granny /Ouma/ Nkhono ("Gogo").

To be eligible as a nominee ("Gogo"), the nominated person must be a resident of South Africa and 18 (eighteen) years of age or older, and must not have previously participated in, or been nominated for, Season 1 of the Competition.

No director, member, partner, employee or agent of, or consultant to the Promoter, any person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the Promoter or any supplier of goods or services in connection with the Promotion, or the spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members may enter this Competition.

Selection Criteria for the Gogos who get to participate in the regional cook-off filming events:

No applications from agents, third parties, organised groups or applications automatically generated by computer will be accepted. No incomplete or corrupted entries will be accepted. Entries will only be accepted if they comply with all entry instructions.

A Participant's entries may be restricted if it is believed their entries are excessive and any future entries and the entrants profile may be blocked until investigated.

The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entry if any act of fraud or dishonesty is suspected, including without limitation, through the manipulation of code or otherwise frequently falsifying data.

Entries which are unclear, illegible or contain errors will be declared invalid and will not be published to the campaign microsite.

The Promoter is exempt of any and all responsibility should any injury occur whilst cooking.

In the event that entry into this Competition is contingent on the Participant entering any website or social media page or application, the Participant hereby acknowledges that any and all costs associated with the required internet connection will not constitute a cost of entering into this Competition and shall be borne solely by the Participant.

By entering this Competition, the Participant and the Gogo consents to the collection, use, storage, disclosure, processing, and further processing of his/her personal information (the Participant's name, ID number, cell phone number, address, personal preferences, and other personal information the Participant provides when entering and participating in this Competition) by the Promoter.

The purposes for processing personal information is to: (i) conduct this Competition; (ii) facilitate the Participant's participation in this Competition; (iii) communicate with the Participant and send direct marketing communication on Rainbow Chicken and similar products via email and (iv) for market and product research.

The Participant and the Gogo will be entitled to: (i) be informed about whether or not their personal information is being processed by the Promoter; (ii) request access to their personal information; (iii) request that the Promoter correct their personal information; (iv) request that the Promoter destroy their personal information; and (v) withdraw their consent for the processing of their personal information.

The Participant and the Gogo hereby acknowledge the importance of familiarising themselves with and agree to be bound by the provisions of the Promoter's privacy policy, which can be accessed at https://rainbowchicken.com/privacy-policy/

Winners will be selected according to the criteria and process as set out in clause 3.3 above.

Results of this Competition will be available on request from the Promoter for a period of six (6) months after the conclusion of this Competition.

The decision of the judges is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

The winner will be notified by the Promoter within 14 (fourteen) days of the final competition taking place. If a winner cannot be contacted within 30 (thirty) days of the notification attempt, or if the winner does not take up the Prize within 30 (thirty) days of being notified of their win, they will forfeit the Prize and another winner may be chosen by the Promoter.

The winner may be required to provide identification and to sign further documentation including an acknowledgement of receipt, or disclaimers and indemnities as the Promoter may require. The Promoter may require the winner to take part in publicity associated with the Competition. The winner's first name and surname may be published or announced publicly.

If the winner is unable or unwilling to accept their Prize for any reason, or if it is established that they have contravened any of these Terms and Conditions, they will forfeit the Prize and the Promoter will be entitled to select an alternative winner or not award that particular Prize.

The Promoter and their agents disclaim all liability in respect of any Tax implications arising from the awarding and/or utilization of the Prize. This liability rests solely with the Winner.

The Prize is as set out in clause 1 above. No other costs or expenses related to the prize not specified are included.

The Prize or any aspect thereof is not transferable and may not be deferred or exchanged for any other item or cash. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the Prize or any component thereof with another prize of comparable commercial value.

To the extent that the Prize includes any warranties, such warranties are those given by the manufacturer of such Prize and not by the Promoter.

In the event that any Prize or portion thereof is not available for any reason beyond the Promoter's control, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the Prize or portion thereof with a prize/s of equivalent value.

The Prize does not include any insurance coverage for any loss or damage caused to the Prize after it has been awarded to the winner. Any such insurance remains the sole responsibility of the winner.

Any costs associated with the collection, or use of the Prize not specifically mentioned as being included are the responsibility of the winner.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Promoter shall not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect or consequential loss), damage, personal injury or death which is suffered or sustained (including but not limited to that arising from any person's negligence) in connection with this Competition or accepting or using any Prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law).

Without limiting clause 7.1, the Promoter makes no warranties or representations as to the quality, suitability or merchantability of any goods or services offered as Prizes or any component thereof.

The Promoter is not responsible for any variation in Prize value.

The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost, incomplete, incorrectly submitted, delayed, illegible, corrupted or misdirected entries, claims or correspondence whether due to error, omission, alteration, tampering, deletion, theft, destruction, transmission interruption, communications failure or otherwise.

The Promoter is not liable for any consequences of user error including (without limitation) costs incurred.

Participants hereby grant permission to the Promoter to publish the winner's first name and surname without payment of additional consideration.

The Promoter reserves the right to announce the name of the winner publicly. Any winner may be requested to attend the draw and announcement of the winner, to take part in the Promoter's publicity campaigns or to allow their photo and likenesses to be used by the Promoter for promotional purposes. Winners are, however, entitled to decline such request.

Where a winner consents to take part in the Promoter's publicity campaigns, they will not be entitled to any remuneration for such participation and all materials arising from such participation will be the sole property of the Promoter.

The Promoter reserves the right to delete any information uploaded by a participant which the Promoter, in its absolute discretion, believes is illegal, obscene, offensive or defamatory, or infringes the intellectual property rights of a third party, or is otherwise inappropriate for a campaign designed for mass audience entertainment.

Participants warrant that they have full rights to the images and stories that they upload and that the use of the said material shall not constitute a breach of any third party's copyright or other intellectual property rights.

Participants agree that by participating in this Competition, they grant permission to the Promoter to take images and/or videos of their participation in this Competition, in any and all media for promotional/marketing purposes with no consideration payable to the Participants.

Should any dispute arise in relation to these Terms and Conditions, the Promoter's decision will be final, and no correspondence shall be entered into.
